I realised why most people couldn't think out of the box.
Everyone has tons of things to do, i really respect human for this aspect. Imagine we spent at least 8 hours for to work, the remaining time we spent at the followings:
a) personal errands like bill payments, house chores,
b) then we have financial planning, facial, hair treatment, skin treatment etc
c) Family issue, take care of the old folks, gathering/celebration preparation, conflicts resolvements
e) Friend, gathering & celebration, you get busier especially if you have tons of friends
f) Hobbies, i spent morning in jogging and evening in swimming sometime, for some they watch sports game, ping pong etc
g) Some went into part-time business i.e. insurance, MLM, unit trust or worst work at home
h) Some entertain client at night, business networking etc
i) Market & Cooking breakfast, lunch, dinner
j) oh not to forget if you have one to take care of, there goes another list.
Now, what i'm trying to say here is, listen carefully, each of these item can be broken down into many sub issue. i.e. bill payments.
First you need to update your payment status, solving payment dispute, running over to counter for payment, endless follow up if you are dealing with national utilities and all these work are merely for one payment, yes, only one payment. How many bills do you need to pay?? credit card, internet, insurance, mobile phone, hire purchase, mortgage, you name it.
With all these activities, how shall we have time for ourselves? we talk about soul/spiritual cultivation. This require a peace, calm and clear mind means this require plenty of time to settle down yourselve with nothing and have a time to realise things happening arounds you.
What i'm trying to say here is, with so many things to handle in our daily life, unintentionally, some daily activities were automated :). What are there? i.e. the route to your home/office, time for meal, the way you walk, speak, stand, the way you behaved:), these are the most obvious one, there formed your HABITS:)
Thus, how do one think out of the box when he/she didn't even know the line of thoughts were automated? When one didn't even HOW to think of the box?
haha..interesting topic.
